Nissan Patrol pricing increased as Y62 generation of Toyota LandCruiser rival reaches 13th year on sale

Australia's favourite big things just got a little more expensive - not the Big Banana - with the price of the Nissan Patrol large SUV nudging up towards the $100,000 mark.

Pricing for the higher-spec Ti-L now kicks off from $97,600 (+$2485), nudging the six-figure mark at an MSRP and certainly exceeding it once on-road costs are accounted for.

Toyota LandCruiser - the much newer LC300 generation Toyota outsells the Patrol comfortably - has been on sale in its current generation for about 13 years, having most recently been significantly updated in 2019.

drivetrain is the same between both variants, a 5.6-litre petrol V8 making 298kW and 560Nm, paired to a seven-speed automatic transmission and an off-road-focused 4X4 system.
